Maine Potter's Guild Mother's Day Sale

I am pleased to tell you I've joined the Maine Potter's Guild, a very diverse and lovely group of ceramic artists. We are participating in the Maine Pottery Tour this weekend, at Red Door Pottery [44 Government St, Kittery, Maine] May 5th and 6th. Opening reception is tonight! I won't be there though, because I have tickets to The Breeders...but come on by this weekend! I have new flower bowls in the show, which is full of whimsical animals and beautiful Raku and all kinds of things. Great gifts for moms and everyone.

I am excited to be participating in Craft Fix! in Kittery, Maine this year. This is a great show, featuring lots of Maine artists and craftspeople. I look forward to it, and to meeting more of my new community.

First day of Spring!

So spring rushes in with a snowstorm here in Brooklyn, after a week of 60 degree weather. We live in interesting times.

In studio news, I have just delivered a new crop of markers to Gowanus Nursery, an extensive list of markers from herbs like Basil, Dill and Cilantro, to veggies (Peppers, Tomato, Carrots) and lots of lovely leafy greens (Arugula, Lettuce, Kale, Mesclun, etc). They are open for the spring season starting this weekend!

I also have new little fun dishes I've been making, good for tossing rings or other jewelry in on a bedside table, or for your teabag after you make a nice cuppa.
